Objectivity in the 21st
Century
Given the astonishing amount of
“information” being presented to us via the multiplicity of
“news” channels, and the internet, objectivity has become the
responsibility of each individual absorbing the inflow of data. No
sources can really be trusted; virtually all media seems to have an
agenda. we are thus required to filter, strain, digest and interpret
as best we can with whattools we happen to have acquired. It becomes
necessary to doubt everything and make reasoned decisions about all
manner of claims.
